Amber Shellman (MBA, PMP, SHRM-SCP) is the Sr. Director of HR Shared Services at Synovus, bringing over 30 years of experience in finance, wealth management, and human resources. Currently serving as the DEI Board Chair, they lead initiatives focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion across major companies. In previous roles at Synovus, including Sr. Manager of Community Banking and Sr. Director of Variable Compensation, Amber collaborated with executives on strategic HR transformations and risk management. With a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration from Troy University, they are passionate about fostering inclusive workplaces and driving transformative change in HR practices.
