Bobby Smith

Bobby Smith is currently the Director of Financial Risk at Synovus, where they help lead the Capital, Market & Liquidity Risk Oversight function. Previously, Bobby held various roles at Truist, including Senior Treasury Market and Liquidity Risk Officer and Head of Liquidity Risk Oversight, contributing to the assessment of liquidity risk management practices. At the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, they served as a Senior Examiner in Market and Liquidity Risk and were commissioned as a Bank Examiner in Consumer Affairs. Bobby also gained financial experience as a Financial Services Representative at Etrade Financial and as an Independent Financial Planner. They earned a BBA in Finance from Valdosta State University.
