Celia Sanchez

Celia Sanchez has extensive experience in the banking sector, particularly in BSA and AML compliance roles. Currently serving as the BSA FIU Manager at Synovus since September 2019, Celia previously held positions at Banco do Brasil as the AVP BSA AML OFAC Supervisor, at Broward Bank of Commerce as AVP BSA/AML OFAC Officer, and at City National Bank of Florida as a BSA Analyst II and Legal Clerk. Celia's educational background includes an Associate of Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Miami Dade College and a High School Diploma in Graphic Design from Hialeah High School. Additional education was pursued at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
