Corey Kearse

Corey Kearse serves as the Director of Regulatory Risk at Synovus, where responsibilities include overseeing the regulatory compliance function for Synovus Mortgage and managing the Compliance Management System since July 2015. Prior to this role, Corey held multiple positions at BBVA Compass from August 2009 to July 2015, including Mortgage Compliance Manager, Fair Lending Compliance Officer, and Deposit Compliance Officer, demonstrating expertise in mortgage compliance laws, regulations, and fair lending practices. Earlier experience includes serving as a Field Project Manager at Morris-Shea Bridge Company, Inc. and as a Commercial Real Property Appraiser at Real Property Services, Inc. Corey Kearse holds a B.A. in Economics and Business from the Virginia Military Institute and a J.D. from the Birmingham School of Law.
