Diane Cooley

Diane Cooley is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in credit risk management and governance. Currently serving as Senior Director of Credit Reporting & Data Quality Governance and Senior Director of Wholesale Credit Risk Operations at Synovus since July 2020, Diane previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Review at Truist for a brief period and spent over 17 years at SunTrust, where significant contributions included overseeing Credit Review for Corporate & Investment Banking and managing a team of Credit Review professionals. Diane's earlier career includes positions as an Institutional Sales Trader and Vice President of Institutional Equity Sales at Wachovia Securities and Interstate/Johnson Lane, respectively, commencing with an equity research role. Diane holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from The College of New Jersey.
