Jamie Gregory

Jamie Gregory is currently the EVP and CFO at Synovus. Prior to this, they spent ten years at Wachovia Bank, where they held various positions in investment and market capacities, eventually becoming Senior Vice President. In 2009, they joined Regions Bank as the Head of Finance and Corporate Development. In this role, they led a team responsible for evaluating opportunities and allocating capital efficiently, including both organic growth and acquisitions. Jamie also oversaw financial planning and analysis, as well as the finance systems team. Before assuming their current role, Gregory was the Assistant Treasurer at Regions, where they were also the Chief Investment Officer for the Treasury Division and responsible for Debt and Capital Planning. Gregory holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from North Carolina State University and a master’s in business from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

After completing their undergraduate degree at North Carolina State University, Jamie Gregory pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
