Jerry Tekac serves as a City Council Member for the City of Goose Creek, having been re-elected on November 8, 2022, for a fourth term and previously held the position of Mayor Pro Tem since December 8, 2020. With a background in banking, Jerry Tekac has been with Synovus since September 1998, currently holding the titles of Senior Vice President and Senior Market Executive. Previous experience includes serving as a City Councilmember from April 2008 to April 2016. Jerry Tekac earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Heidelberg University and has furthered studies at the Graduate School of Banking at LSU.
