Michael Murphy is a seasoned professional in the banking and hospitality industries with a career spanning over 15 years. Currently serving as the Retail Market Leader at Synovus Bank since October 2009, Michael is responsible for managing branch operations, enhancing customer relationships, and achieving branch goals. Previously, Michael held roles as Retail Market Manager and Assistant Branch Manager at Synovus Bank, as well as an Assistant Manager at JASON’s Deli, where coordination of daily restaurant functions and supervision of staff were key responsibilities. Michael began the career in the food service sector as a Shift Leader at Mcalister’s Deli, focusing on team collaboration to ensure quality service. Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Business Management from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business in 2009.
