Michael Porter, M.S., CISA, is a seasoned technology risk management senior leader with over 20 years of experience and a U.S. Army veteran. With a strong commitment to service and teamwork, they have successfully led cybersecurity efforts across multiple organizations, including Silicon Valley Bank and Truist, where they implemented significant risk management strategies and compliance frameworks. Currently, Porter is the founder of Federal Risk Solutions LLC and serves as the Global Head of Cybersecurity Governance, Risk and Compliance at NielsenIQ while also teaching at Southern New Hampshire University. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Science in Business Information Technology from DePaul University.
