Paul Chernausek

Paul Chernausek, CPA, is currently the Director of Accounting Policy at Synovus. They have extensive experience in accounting and auditing, having worked as a Senior Audit Associate at Reznick Group and an Audit Associate at KPMG. Paul served as an Assurance Manager at EY and held positions in corporate accounting and senior management roles at BBVA Compass and Cadence Bank. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Manager in Accounting Policy at HD Supply and an Audit Manager at Tidwell Group. Paul earned a Master's degree in Accounting from The University of Alabama and is currently pursuing further education at Samford University.
