Tom Clinkscales

Tom Clinkscales is an enterprise-oriented corporate attorney currently serving as the Associate Deputy General Counsel at Synovus. With a multidisciplinary background, Tom has significant experience in workouts, reorganizations, creditors' rights, distressed debt restructurings, and complex commercial litigation. Tom previously held positions at Alston & Bird as a Restructuring Attorney and as a Summer Associate, and also worked as a Summer Associate at Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP. Tom holds a J.D., Magna Cum Laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law and a B.A. in English Literature from Furman University.
