Nolan W. is the CEO and Founder of SYNQ Access & Security Technology, a role they have held since 2015, and they co-host Modern Work Mondays and run the Retail Clinic YouTube channel, with a focus described as Moneyball for Retail. Their career includes roles at Safeway from 2002 to 2006 as District Special Projects and District Management Trainee Mentor. They also held positions at Best Buy in 2010 as District Support and at Loblaw Companies Limited in 2010 as Senior Regional Loss Prevention Manager for BC, MB/SASK, as well as District Manager - Loss Prevention. They earned a B.A. in Economics with a Business Minor from the University of Victoria (2003–2006). They are pursuing an MBA in Business Administration at Royal Roads University and pursuing training in Interrogation through Wicklander/Zulawski.
