Ryan Permeh is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the cybersecurity industry. Currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors at Synqly and Query.AI, as well as an Operating Partner at SYN Ventures, Ryan is dedicated to helping early-stage security companies. Previously, Ryan held significant roles at BlackBerry as Senior Vice President and Chief Security Architect, and at Cylance as Chief Scientist and Co-founder, where key technologies were developed for product and service innovation. Additional experience includes leadership positions at McAfee and Intel Corporation, where Ryan played a pivotal role in technology strategy and product security initiatives. Ryan began a career in technology as a Founding Software Engineer at eEye Digital Security and has a strong educational background from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Kasson-Mantorville High School.
