Haley Smith has had a varied work experience. Haley began their career in 2007 as a Figure Skating Instructor for the Utah Olympic Oval. In 2009, they took on a role as a Graduate Assistant for the University of Utah Athletic Department Office of Athletics Complaince. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as a Marketing Coordinator for US Speedskating, followed by an Operations Coordinator role for USA Bobsled and Skeleton from 2011 to 2012. During that same year, they also worked as a Sport Education Coordinator for USSA. In 2012, they began working as a Front Desk Team Leader for Park City Municipal Corporation, and in 2015 they became a Figure Skating Coach for the Figure Skating Club of Park City, where they coached the 2014 Preliminary Pacific Coast Synchronized Skating Sectional Champions. Haley also skated competitively for 10 years, competing nationally and internationally as a member of the Ice Angelz and the University of Michigan Synchronized Skating Teams. Haley was a Gold Medalist in Ice Dance and Bronze Medalist in Moves in the Field. In 2020, they took on a role as a Customer Service Manager for Sok-It, and in 2021 they began working for High Fitness LP as a member of the Trainings and Customer Service Team. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Customer Onboarding Manager for Syncware.
Haley Smith received a Nonprofit Academy for Excellence Certificate from the University of Utah in 2014. Haley then received their Juris Doctor from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law in 2011. Prior to that, Smith obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Sport Management from the University of Michigan in 2007. Haley also completed a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
