Brad Merrill is a Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they have been teaching since 2004. They currently lead research focused on pluripotent stem cell biology and CRISPR/Cas9 technology development. In addition, they serve as the Head of Innovation at Syntax Bio since 2021. Brad holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences from the University of California, San Diego, and a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Arizona.
