The Syntaxis team has, for almost twenty years, provided capital to growing SMEs in the European Union countries of Central Europe. We work to make an impact locally, providing capital to ambitious management teams to build their businesses. We have supported the development of local champions who have expanded internationally, entered new geographies, and, in the process, disrupted traditional, rigid market structures. Our geographic focus is on the new Central European members of the EU, and on those countries working to accede to the Union.
Our conviction – one proven repeatedly – is that the way we invest capital works, providing longer-term finance to visionary entrepreneurs in a way that wholly aligns our investors’ interests with theirs. As we work together, we have also supported the further institutionalization of their businesses, not just in terms of deepening leadership ranks, but also in refining internal processes, and augmenting capacities.
