Marcus Galafassi

Marcus Galafassi currently serves as Chief Digital Officer at Syntegon since January 2025. Previously, Marcus held the position of Head of IT at Orveon Global from February 2022 to December 2024, leading the establishment of a new IT landscape with a fully cloud-based architecture, including eCommerce solutions and ERP implementation across multiple global entities. Prior experience includes Vice President roles at Otis Elevator Co., where responsibilities encompassed digital technology for global service sales and IT operations, and at United Technologies Building and Industrial Systems, overseeing IT for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions. Earlier positions at Carrier Corporation involved directing IT integration for acquisitions and leading operational support in Latin America. Marcus earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and completed several executive business programs, including those at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and INSEAD.
