Joy Gallo

Joy Gallo has extensive experience in procurement and strategic sourcing. Joy currently holds the position of Global Director of Procurement at Synthomer since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as Chief Procurement Officer at Performance Health from May 2019 to November 2022, where they implemented strategies to resolve stockout challenges, optimize inventory levels, and drive company profitability. Joy was also Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at Covetrus from February 2019 to May 2019, where they led procurement efforts and developed strategies to address stockouts and drive cost savings. Before that, they held various roles at Ashland, including Global Procurement Director, Global Director of Materials, and Director of Global Sourcing. In these positions, they oversaw procurement for manufacturing and distribution segments, developed supplier relationships, and negotiated contracts to achieve cost savings. Their work experience spans from 1996 to the present day.

Joy Gallo holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from The Ohio State University. In 2013, they completed the Executive Leadership Program in Business Administration and Management, General from WOMEN Unlimited. Additionally, they attended the Executive Financial Education Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management.
