Leigh MacRae

Leigh Macrae has over 30 years of experience in financial leadership roles. Leigh began their career at KPMG Advisory as an Assistant Manager before moving on to Ford Credit Europe as a Retail Accounting Manager. Leigh then joined GE Consumer Finance as the Head of Central Accounting Services, where they oversaw financial shared services and implemented Sarbanes Oxley 404 testing.

Leigh's career continued at Pitney Bowes, where they held various director-level positions. Leigh served as the Director of Finance Operations in Europe, responsible for managing internal and outsourced finance teams, leading process improvement initiatives, and facilitating the divestiture of the software business. Leigh also served as the Director of Controllership, overseeing finance functions in Europe, Asia Pacific, and Brazil.

Leigh's most recent roles include Head of European Finance SSC at Pitney Bowes, Head of Finance Shared Service - Europe & Asia at Synthomer, and currently, Vice President of Global Financial Shared Services at Synthomer. In these roles, they have led large finance shared service teams, implemented SAP S4 HANA across multiple regions, supported M&A activities, and ensured the smooth operation of operational finance functions.
