Jan Korting

Jan Korting has extensive experience in the fields of technology and supervision, having served as a toezichthouder for both WTB (Werktuigbouwkunde) and Civiel at Syntraal since October 2018 and at Tauw bv since March 1981. Responsibilities include overseeing renovations and new constructions of pumps, treatment plants, weirs, sluice complexes, and OVL projects, while also undertaking certain management tasks. Prior roles include serving as a bestuurslid and voorzitter of the Raambuurtvereniging from 1985 to 1995, and working as a tekenaar at De Plaatijzerindustrie BV from March 1977 to March 1981, where Jan Korting gained experience in producing technical drawings for the workshop. Jan Korting fulfilled military service as an administrateur for the 47th PAINFBAT from March 1976 to March 1977. Education includes studies at MTS Deventer (WTB), completed in 1976, and LTS T-stroom Voorbrug, completed in 1971.
