Mark McDonald

Mark McDonald is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Syntrillo. Mark has also served as the Chief Medical Officer at NeuroView Diagnostics, LLC from March 2018 to October 2020, and as a Scientific Researcher at Georgia State University from January 2009 to June 2011.

As Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Syntrillo, Mark McDonald is responsible for leading the company’s strategy and product development initiatives.

At NeuroView Diagnostics, LLC, Mark McDonald served as the Chief Medical Officer, overseeing the medical team and developing new diagnostic products.

As a Scientific Researcher at Georgia State University, Mark McDonald ran experiments exploring the role of the lateral septum and basolateral amygdala in social stress and fear memory.

Mark McDonald completed a fellowship in Neuroimmunology at the University of Virginia, followed by an adult neurology residency at the same school. Mark then earned their MD at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston), and went on to complete a master's degree in neuroscience at Georgia State University. Finally, they earned a degree in psychology from the University of Georgia - Franklin College of Arts and Sciences.
