Synvertec is an Israeli based company established in 2014. Utilizing innovative patented technology developed at Tel Aviv University, Synvertec helps facilitate high levels of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) and Distributed Energy Resources (DER) within diverse electricity grids, while also significantly enhancing grid stability. Synvertecdeveloped the Synchronverter®, a patented control algorithm that interacts with inverter switches and emulates the mechanical and electrical properties of a synchronous generator. The Synchronverter® transforms renewable energy inverters into cutting-edge grid stabilizing devices. With the addition of the Synchronverter® , inverters play an active role in the stabilization of grids whose considerable renewable energy source (RES) proportions would otherwise create significant instability. Synvertec's funders include a leading seed investment alliance (Horizon Green Tech Ventures), the Israeli government (OCS), and Israel Electric Company (IEC - Israeli Grid Operator). Synvertec is also a proud participant in Horizon 2020, the European Commission's largest research and innovation program.
