Mike Hoffman is a highly experienced engineer with a strong background in product design and engineering support across various industries. Currently serving as a Product Design Engineer and Welding Engineer at Sypris Technologies Tube Turns Division since November 2010, Mike specializes in designing ASME pressure vessel and pipeline closures and is involved in welding procedures, stress calculations, and engineering documentation. Prior experience includes roles as a Design Engineer at Indesco, Inc., where custom automatic machinery was developed for automotive manufacturers, and as a Design Engineer for Waukesha Cherry Burrell, focusing on sanitary process equipment for meat processing. Mike's career also includes significant positions at Long Airdox and National Mine Service Co., where design work for underground mining equipment was conducted, as well as an Equipment Engineer role with the WV Department of Highways that addressed complex mechanical challenges. Mike holds a Bachelor of Engineering Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Marshall University.
