Fred Plais

Fred PLAIS is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the technology and eCommerce sectors. As Co-founder and CEO of Platform.sh since July 2015, Fred PLAIS has been instrumental in developing a second-generation Platform-as-a-Service focused on Continuous Deployment, raising $187 million in funding. Prior to this role, Fred PLAIS co-founded and led Commerce Guys, the company behind Drupal Commerce, and served as General Manager at AF83, a multi-tech development shop. Additionally, Fred PLAIS held a significant position at SFR Vodafone Group, overseeing premium content, and co-founded the first French natural language search engine, Infoclic. With a strong foundation in business education from ESCP Business School and incomplete MBA studies at Henley Business School, Fred PLAIS’s career reflects a commitment to innovation and leadership across various tech-driven ventures.
