Located in Columbus, Ohio, Syscom Advanced Materials was formed to develop, manufacture and market high performance, light-weight, high strength, and flexible electrically conductive polymer/metal hybrid fibers currently demanded in the marketplace. In its short history, Syscom has become a leader in providing materials to the aerospace and other demanding industries with products designed to meet the most technical design and application environments. Syscom’s AmberStrand®, Liberator® and X-STEEL™ fiber products are currently providing high performance conductive yarns for EMI shielding overbraid, cable shielding, and other demanding applications.

In addition, Syscom is using its existing platform technology to create a broad offering of new conductive fibers specifically tailored for new markets such as e-Textiles and smart fabrics. Syscom’s commitment to continuous improvement is evidenced by our addition of the ISO compliant certifications AS9100 REV C and ISO 9001:2008.
