Kinya Uchihashi

Kinya Uchihashi is an Executive Officer at Sysmex. Kinya has previously worked as a Clinical Study Manager at Sysmex Europe, a Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a PhD student at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf.

Kinya Uchihashi began their career as a Technician at Heinrich Pette Institute for Experimental Virology and Immunology at the University of Hamburg. Kinya then went on to work as a PhD student at Universitätsklinikum Hamburg Eppendorf, where they conducted laboratory experiments and prepared publications.

In 2012, Kinya Uchihashi took a position as a Scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There they worked on designing animal trials and in vitro experiments with cell culture. Kinya also wrote reports and supervised technical assistants.

In January 2013, Kinya Uchihashi began working as a Clinical Study Manager at Sysmex Europe. In this role, they were responsible for designing clinical studies, analyzing data, drafting reports, and providing scientific support to the Haematology marketing division. Kinya also maintained contact with R&D in Japan.

They are on a team with Hiroshi Kanda - Senior Executive Officer & MD, Hidekazu Fukumoto - Member of the Managing Board, and Tomoo Aramaki - Member of the Managing Board. Kinya Uchihashi reports to Theirashi Ietsugu, CEO & Chairman.
