Muhammad Maqsood is currently the Head of DeFi at System 9, where they lead the firm's DeFi trading activities and manage a proprietary trading book. Previously, they gained experience as a proprietary trader and DeFi trader at Celsius and System 9, respectively. Muhammad has also held roles in algorithmic trading research at Quantopian Inc., finance analysis at THG, and auditing at RSM UK. They earned a BSc in Accounting, Business Finance, and Management with First Class Honours from the University of York, along with distinctions in Financial Engineering and Risk Management from Columbia University.
