Systems Engineering
Ken Piper is a seasoned systems engineer with extensive experience in various technical roles. At Systems Engineering since April 2011, Ken progressed from Systems Administrator II to NOC Engineer II. Previous experience includes a position as Systems Engineer III at Software Essentials from July 2006 to April 2011, focusing on Astaro Linux firewalls and various server environments. As Field Automation Specialist III at OneBeacon Insurance from November 2001 to July 2006, Ken contributed to systems engineering for the Quantum project and provided desktop support across multiple offices. Early career experience at Computer Sciences Corporation involved desktop support and managing a UNIX/Windows CAD environment. Ken holds a B.A. in Philosophy from St. Francis Xavier University (1988-1992) and pursued a CBIT degree in the MCSE track at the University of New England (1998-1999).
