Paul Stack

Paul Stack has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Their most recent position is as a Developer at System Initiative, which they have held since November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Pulumi Corporation from May 2019 to October 2022, initially as a Staff Software Engineer and later as an Engineering Manager. Before that, they were a Developer at Joyent from September 2017 to April 2019. Paul also worked as an Engineer at HashiCorp from July 2016 to July 2017 and as SaaS Ops at BMC Software from January 2016 to June 2016. In 2015, they were involved in infrastructure-related work at Dream It Get IT Ltd. From 2011 to 2015, they served as a Development Team Leader at toptable.co.uk/opentable.com. Paul has also held the role of Senior Developer at IPT from July 2010 to August 2011. Additionally, Paul Stack was the Founding Co-ordinator of GiveCamp UK in 2011, where they worked with Rachel Hawley to organize a weekend-long event benefiting eight UK charities. Paul started their career as a Software Developer at Datapharm Communications Ltd from August 2006 to July 2010, where they contributed to all aspects of the application life cycle and helped implement agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.

Paul Stack completed their A Levels in Maths, Chemistry, Biology, and IT at St. Columbs College from 1993 to 2000. Paul then pursued Biochemistry at the University of Surrey from 2000 to 2005, where they did not obtain a specific degree.
