Shane McElwee

Shane McElwee is a highly skilled research scientist specializing in real-world evidence, currently employed at System Inc. since October 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a RWD Analytic Consultant at Norstella and as a Senior Scientific Analyst at Aetion, where extensive analysis of large real-world datasets was conducted to generate evidence and support regulatory submissions. Shane also held the position of Supervisor at Cozy Thai Bistro, where management of a team was essential during the COVID-19 pandemic, and served as a Research Assistant at Penn State University, contributing to research on health behaviors among sexual minorities. Shane holds a Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and is an alumnus of the Schreyer Honors College.
