Victor Shih

Victor Shih has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Victor started their career as a Software Developer at Capella Microsystems Inc., where they worked on optical electronic products. Victor then transitioned to Columbia University in the City of New York as a Data Scientist. After that, they co-founded BraiQ, where they served as the CTO. In 2018, they joined System Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and later became the Director of Engineering.

Victor Shih has a strong educational background in the field of bioengineering and biomedical engineering. From 2008 to 2012, they pursued a Dual BSE degree in Biomedical Engineering and Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University. This was followed by a Master's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Columbia Engineering, which they completed from 2013 to 2014. Victor then continued their academic journey at Columbia Engineering, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering, which spanned from 2016 to 2018.
