Michael Spears is an accomplished Marketing Director and former Sr Manager of Corporate Communications at System1 since October 2021. Prior to this role, Michael reported for KIRO 7, covering significant events such as breaking news, the COVID-19 outbreak, and receiving a 2019 Northwest Emmy for coverage of a stolen airplane incident. Previous positions include a WTVJ Reporter at NBC News, where coverage of Hurricane Irma and the Parkland mass shooting garnered a 2017 Suncoast Emmy. Michael's experience spans several reporting roles, including as a News Reporter/Fill-in Anchor at WGHP and KIMA-TV, as well as internships at CBS News and NBC News. Michael holds a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Sociology from the University of Miami.
