Dani Gent is an experienced director currently leading initiatives at Systemiq Ltd. since August 2019. Previously, Dani served as the Country Packages for Forests, Climate and Nature Lead at the Forest & Climate Leaders' Partnership from September 2022 to December 2023. Prior roles include Head of Policy and Partnerships at the Food and Land Use Coalition from August 2019 to October 2022, and significant positions at the UK Government’s Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy from April 2014 to August 2019, where responsibilities included Head of REDD+ Policy and Investments and Senior Climate Finance Investment Lead. Dani began a career in academia as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and Research Associate at Loughborough University from October 2009 to April 2014 and also worked as a Consultant for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in 2011.
