Jesse Hoffman

Jesse Hoffman is a seasoned expert in energy access and sustainable finance, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Systemiq Ltd. since January 2022, leading initiatives across the Energy and Sustainable Finance Practice areas. With extensive experience in concessional finance, energy transition, and green hydrogen, Hoffman also leads engagements for the Blended Finance Taskforce and the Energy Transitions Commission. As the Founder and Managing Director of Weaver Birch Advisors, Hoffman provides independent advisory services focused on private equity and business strategy. Previous roles include acting as head of analysis at the Energy Transitions Commission and leading the ammonia transition strategy for the Mission Possible Partnership. A strong background in process excellence was developed at Greenlight Planet, Inc., and earlier positions at One Acre Fund and Bain & Company provided diverse management and consultancy experience. Jesse Hoffman holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and additional degrees from the University of Ottawa, Sciences Po Aix, and BRAC University.
