John Nam

John Nam has a diverse work experience in the fields of engineering and product support. John started their career at General Electric in 1997 as a Product Support Engineer, where they performed hardware fixes and firmware updates for motor and generator digital protection relays. John then joined Teledyne DALSA in 2005 as a Design Specialist C, specializing in Image Sensor R&D. John later became a Development Leader A in 2008. In 2009, John Nam transitioned to Systems With Intelligence Inc. as the VP of Engineering, where they were involved in designing and manufacturing inspection cameras, industrial IoT sensors, and software solutions for the utility industry.

John Nam completed their Bachelor of Engineering Management in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University from 1992 to 1997. John then pursued a PhD in Engineering Physics at McMaster University from 1999 to 2005.
