Jan Groot

Jan Groot is a highly experienced technology professional with a focus on backend engineering and tech leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Backend Engineer at Sytac since February 2016, Jan has also held positions as Tech Lead at KLM, DevOps Tech Lead at Ahold Delhaize, and Tech Lead at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank. Previous roles include Developer at Royal FloraHolland and ING, as well as Partner and Java Performance Consultant at Profactive and Rabobank, respectively. Jan began a career in software development at Orange11 and Trifork, while academic qualifications include a degree from the University of Groningen and further studies at LOI.
