Derek Logan

Derek Logan is an experienced data science professional currently serving as the NLP Data Science Manager and previously as NLP Data Scientist at Apixio since September 2022, following the merger of SyTrue and ClaimLogiq. Prior to Apixio, Derek worked at Bozeman Health as an Epic Data Analyst/Caboodle Developer, where expertise in multi-dimensional analyses and data visualization was applied. Additional experience includes a brief tenure as a Data Analyst at Oracle, focusing on customer experience reporting for health sciences, and academic roles at the University of Colorado Boulder as a Tutor and Learning Assistant. Derek's career began in customer service at Red Fox Outdoor Equipment and included military service with the United States Air Force Security Forces. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Data Science from Montana State University-Bozeman and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics with a Statistics concentration from the University of Colorado Boulder.
