Szofa.eu is the one and only literary portal in Hungary where you can read nine contemporary literary magazines for the price of a cup of coffee!

You can browse the latest issues of Kalligram, Tiszatáj, Látó, Alföld, Székelyföld, Eső, Prae, Apokrif and 2000 with a single subscription.

Szofa.eu was created to promote contemporary Hungarian literature. Contemporary Hungarian literature has been magazine culture based for a long time. Because of capricious funding and change in readers' habits, these magazines reach very few readers. We offer the literal magazines to the readers in a transparent and simple online subscription system, and at the same time we strive to make publishing profitable for the publishers. Szofa.eu distributes half of its profit among the partners included in the portal. It is essential to realise that contemporary Hungarian literature has a great value and the authors must receive benefits. When subscribing to Szofa.eu, you also gain access to the archives dated back to 2020. You will also have access to the important forums of contemporary Hungarian literature, and will be a proactive part of the renascent Hungarian literature. It is not simply about the authors' fees, it is mostly about having literary workshops where all players can communicate with each other, critical forums, where everybody can receive professional feedback on their works, and so on. Come, and take a look!

We cooperate with several authors, e.g.: Lackfi János, Terék Anna, Péterfy Gergely, Bánki Éva, Péntek Orsolya, Jászberényi Sándor, Kukorelly Endre
