Thijs Risselada

Thijs Risselada is an experienced educator and trainer specializing in history and educational development. Currently serving as a Docent geschiedenis at 't Atrium since August 2025, Thijs also works as a Trainer for Toetsrevolutie and as an Onderwijsontwikkelaar at Risselada Educatie, both roles since February 2021. Previously, Thijs taught history and societal studies at Christelijk Lyceum Apeldoorn, where responsibilities included coordinating havo 5. Other teaching roles included positions at Zuyderzeecollege, School at Sea, Luzac College, and as a historical city guide for Paulien Excursions. Thijs Risselada holds an Educational Master of History from the University of Groningen, completed in 2010.
