Ron McCarty

Ron McCarty has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ron'smost recent position was as the Director, Cybersecurity Solution Architect at T-Rex Solutions, LLC, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were the owner of Rons-Photo.com, a photography business specializing in weddings and portraiture, starting in 2013. Ron founded Your Net Guard in 2006 and served as the CEO. Ron also worked as a Sr. Principal Cyber Engineer at Innovative Signal Analysis Inc. from 2020 to 2023, and at Raytheon from 2018 to 2019. Ron worked as a Multiple Discipline Engineer at L-3 Communications from 2013 to 2015 and as a Consultant/Contractor at the same company in 2007. Additionally, they held positions such as Director, Product Operations at Net Watch Solutions in 2005, Senior Planning Engineer at MCI in 2005, and Director, Open Systems at First American from 2001 to 2005.

Ron McCarty earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Information Systems from the University of Maryland in 1994. Ron later pursued a Master's degree (MS) in Management - IT at Capella University, which they completed in 2006. In terms of additional certifications, Ron obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2018. Ron also earned the (ISC)2 Security CISSP certification from (ISC)² in January 2021. Furthermore, Ron obtained the Certified SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2023.
