Alyssa May

Alyssa May is a Field Service Specialist at TA Instruments, focusing on thermal analysis and rheology product lines across Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming since July 2024. Previously, Alyssa served as the Assistant Director of the Materials Science & Engineering core facility at Colorado State University, managing diverse materials characterization equipment and overseeing user training, project consultations, and lab operations from January 2022 to July 2024. As a Postdoctoral Fellow in Soft Materials Analysis at the Analytical Resources Core, expertise included operating advanced mass spectrometry and small/wide angle X-ray scattering systems. Alyssa's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from Colorado State University, with research centered on developing innovative polymeric materials, alongside early experiences as a clinical toxicology analyst and chemistry educator.
