Alex O'Brien

Alex O'Brien is an experienced professional in the media and advertising industry, currently serving as the Enterprise Publisher Account Manager for Africa at Taboola since January 2026. With a background in building publisher partnerships and driving revenue growth, Alex has previously held significant roles such as Platform Partnerships Lead at Hearst UK, Co-Founder and COO of Spotlight, and Head of Brand Partnerships at Caters Media Group. Alex co-founded Spotlight, focusing on relationship building and strategic growth, while at Caters Media Group, responsibilities included managing brand-focused initiatives and delivering presentations at international conferences. Earlier experience includes leading the content licensing department at Brave Bison and serving as a Licensing Executive. Alex holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Reading.
