Gali Katz

Gali Katz is a highly experienced professional in software development and machine learning, currently serving as a Machine Learning Team Leader at Taboola since May 2017, specializing in large language models, retrieval-augmented generation, and prompt engineering. Previous roles at Taboola included Senior Algorithm Engineer and Algorithm Engineer. At Hewlett Packard Enterprise from September 2011 to May 2017, Gali led a team of four software engineers, managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the Search Service within the ITSM SaaS product, Service Anywhere. Additional experience includes software development roles at FST Biometrics, focusing on face recognition technology, and Amdocs, where Gali developed end-to-end features and designed application solutions. Gali holds a PhD in Cognitive Science, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same field and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
