Xiangfeng (Sean) Chen is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the semiconductor and software industries. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Tabula, Inc. since June 2007, Xiangfeng developed a configuration tool from scratch in just four weeks. Previous roles include Member of Consulting Staff at Magma Design Automation, where Xiangfeng contributed to fundamental algorithm design for the Mojave LVS project, and Principal Engineer at Ammocore Technology, where a path search algorithm for timing analysis was implemented. Earlier positions at Cadence Design Systems and Numerical Technologies, Inc. focused on IC design methodologies and Phase Shifting Mask design, respectively. Xiangfeng began a career in software engineering at SGI, progressing from a Summer Intern to Member of Technical Staff, and holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, as well as degrees in artificial intelligence and mathematical logic.
