Barb Hansen

Barb Hansen has a diverse work experience in product management, strategy, and leadership roles. Barb currently serves as the VP Product & Community at Tacit, where they lead the development and expansion of the Tacit product suite for industrial companies. Prior to that, Barb worked as a Founder for a stealth startup and as a CPO and Co-Founder at Thinkin Blue, where they led product and growth efforts and managed the company's financial and operational functions.

Barb also has experience as a freelance startup product manager and as the Director of SaaS Product Management and Strategy at Energy Central. In these roles, they focused on connecting professionals in the power industry through online networks and developing comprehensive industry news feeds.

Earlier in their career, Barb worked as a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations Product Management at IHS, Inc. and as a Vice President of Product Management at Axirim Corp. Barb also held positions as a Director of Product Management at OutcomesMTM and as a startup technical product management executive.

Throughout their career, Barb has demonstrated expertise in product development, marketing operations, digital product management, and sales engagement. Barb has been involved in fundraising efforts and has experience in developing and implementing production processes, information architecture, and marketing strategies for various companies and products.

Barb Hansen attended Canadore College from 1981 to 1983, where they obtained a degree in Medical Laboratory Technology. In 2012, they also obtained certifications in Landing Page Optimization from MarketingSherpa/MecLabs and Online Testing from MarketingSherpa.
