Mia Kumar

Mia Kumar has a diverse work history starting as a Teaching Assistant at Humboldt State University. Mia then held research roles at the National Cancer Institute, where they focused on cancer biology and genetics. Subsequently, they worked at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in virology support. Later, Mia transitioned to industry roles, working at Human Genome Sciences and Sartorius Stedim Biotech. Currently, they serve as the Associate Director of Sales at Taconic Biosciences, where they have previously held positions as a Strategic Account Manager and Client Relationship Manager. Throughout their career, Mia has demonstrated a strong background in biological sciences and sales.

Mia Kumar earned a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Humboldt State University in 2007. Mia later pursued a Master of Science in Biotechnology with a concentration in Biodefense at The Johns Hopkins University from 2009 to 2010.
