Ivan Ivanov

Ivan Ivanov is a Principal Software Engineer at Tactic. Ivan has over thirteen years of experience in the industry, having worked as a Staff Software Engineer at Flatiron Health, a Software Engineer at Google, and a Quantitative Analyst at Susquehanna International Group.

Ivanov’s experience includes building and training machine learning models for understanding the relations between web content and real world business operations, as well as designing and implementing complex MapReduce pipelines for discovering patterns in business geo datasets. Ivan also created large high frequency datasets from historical equity market data and produced interactive studies in Python and Matlab for trading strategy discovery, fast prototyping and performance analysis.

Ivanov holds a degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
