Michl Binderbauer

Michl Binderbauer is the CEO of TAE Technologies. Michl has a long history of work in high-speed computing and networking, energy production, space propulsion, and electronic sensor technology. Michl was a co-founder of Soaptronic LLC, a leading global hand sanitation company, and has invented touchless dispensing systems. Michl has also worked as a consultant for a variety of commercial and government clients.

Michl Binderbauer completed their undergraduate studies at UC Irvine, where they majored in plasma physics and thermonuclear fusion. Michl then went on to complete their Master of Science at UC Irvine in kinetic theory, reactor kinetics, and pulsed plasma dynamics. Finally, they earned their Ph.D. in Plasma Physics from UC Irvine, where their focus was on Field-Reversed Configuration topology, plasma stability, fast ion physics, and thermonuclear reactivity.
