Tom Ryan

Tom Ryan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in infrastructure delivery and project management. Currently serving as the Director of Infrastructure Delivery, Investment Program Director, and Investment Program Manager for Northern NSW at TAFE NSW since November 2017, Tom has previously held several key roles at GHD Pty Ltd from March 2004 to November 2017, including Project Manager and Project Director for major projects. Tom's foundational experience stems from a military background as an Officer in the Royal Australian Engineers in the Australian Army from January 1988 to February 2004. Tom holds a Master of Engineering Science in Civil Engineering from UNSW and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil from the University of New South Wales (Australian Defence Force Academy). Tom’s educational journey began at Bunbury Catholic College, culminating in a strong technical background in civil engineering.
