John Gallon

Principal Bioinformatician and Organ Health Lead

John Gallon is a computational biologist specializing in biomarker innovation and precision safety in oncology. They are finishing a PhD in bioinformatics, focusing on the epigenetics of chemotherapy resistance in ovarian cancer. Currently, John serves as the Principal Bioinformatician and Organ Health Lead at Tagomics, where they lead the development of a cfDNA-based platform for early detection of drug-induced tissue injury. Previously, John worked as a Senior Computational Biologist at AstraZeneca and as a Postdoctoral Scientist at University Hospital Basel. They also hold an MRes in Cancer Biology and a BSc Hons in Medical Genetics from Imperial College London and Queen Mary University of London, respectively.
